Paranoia Edit

This is the Paranoia video that myself, Leah, Tanaka and Kieran filmed and edited. This is the first chance we got to use the HD cameras and it gave us experience with working in groups. We were given different camera shots to use and then we had to film clips using these camera shots. This gave us another chance to use final cut and will show that our camera, mise en scene, edit and sound work is always improving. To make this better we should ensure that each scene is bright enough as you cannot always see the characters face.

My dexter morning routine.

This is my remake of Dexter's morning routine. I helped to shoot and edit this film. My editing and camera work has come a long way since my paranoia film. I have learned how a camera is used to show power and I now know how to gender a camera. This very much helped when filming this video. To improve I would need to make my edit sharper and make sure the soundtrack matches the video. I should also make sure that any clips I edit into the video work and are clear to see. 

My se7en edit.

This is the second title remake i completed. This task gave me experience in working with final cut pro for the first time. It also proves that my editing skills have come along after my Napoleon Dynamite remake. You can find this also on my blog.
I used a shaky effect to give my video a more sinister look and the font of my text and the images i use line up the genre as a thriller.

Mine and Tanaka's remake of the Napoleon Dynamite title scene

Me and my friend completed this title scene remake as practice and an induction task for our as media course. We did this to give us some experience of film making. We can also look back on this video to see how far we have come in the future. This helped me to understand what the course would be about.

Location Recce

This is a video of my location recce. For this me and some of my classmates went to London to look for places that would be suitable for a thriller film. I chose this location as I think that it is a good, urban location and it is near to a busy part of the city. This location leads to many different ally ways where we could film our peice without anyone being disturbed.
