The usual suspects

The usual suspects is a crime thriller about 5 notorious criminals that meet after being arrested for a van robbery. After meeting they decide to take on some jobs together. They end up taking a job for kaiser soze, the most elusive and feared criminal of all.

This film was outstanding, I enjoyed every minute of it. I found that at parts I didn't want to take my eyes off the screen because I didn't want to miss a detail. The writing is superb and it has the biggest plot twist of any film I've seen.

Spacey plays a cripple named Verbal Kint. As always Spacey is a genius in this film and narrates and plays his part to perfection. The cinematography is absolutely outstanding and the opening scene is one that always stays on my mind. The climax to the film is incredible and I could not have guessed that kaiser soze is actually verbal Kint. This really surprised me because from the beginning I guessed that the soze was actually Keaton. I think the director Bryan Singor did a fantastic job hiding soze's actual identity.

The only problem I had with the film is that to me fensters death is unexplained and at times it is hard to follow. Apart from that the film is very entertaining.

As I said it has the most jaw dropping climaxes to any film I have seen. I would completely recommend it and would rate it a 9/10.
